The Miss Asia Pageant is done and over with and it’s time to fly back to Hong Kong.

Funny. It’s been a while since i’ve been on a plane. Since 2002 actually, and in a span of 15 days, i’ve been on a plan 4 times already, and i got one more flight to catch to head back to Toronto. Haha….made up for the lost time i suppose.

Anyways, we checked out and went over to the restaurant for our breakfast. Eggs, fruits, cereal, crepes, buns, chicken, rice, noodles, juice, coffee, tea, milk!!! Yes milk isn’t that common here, and if it is…it’s either bad (local brand) or expensive, the imported brands.

Breakfast done, and we head off to the bus which was waiting outside for us to drop us off at the airport.

A quick scan here and there to our faces to match our passport photo and voila…but wait a minute. We had to go through the scanning of luggage and the screening door frame.

Sure enough, i see another female that smiles at me. Tony looks over and tells me what i knew would already happen.

I walk through, and i set the alarms off. LOL. She asks me in Mandarin to stand on a stool…so now i’m that much taller than her, and she scans me with the beeping ping pong racket. Of course it rings near my crotch, and i can’t help but laugh. She giggles and tells me it my buckle. Sure, sure…i grab my bag from the conveyor belt and walk off laughing it off with Tony as she smiles goodbye.

While waiting at the Hainan airport, the duty free shop was almost worst than some of the flea shops you can find in scarborough. We checked it out anyways, and it was time to get on the plane.

We walked out by the engine and plane…took a few photos and boarded.

55mins later we were descending to land in Hong Kong.

Feels great to be home.

Once we got out to the terminal, we saw a few funny cartoon versions of emperors.

Next on the list was, to go home and nap for me, while Tony watched some T.V.

A few hours later, he took off to China, while i went to meet up with the pageant girls that were finally ‘PAGEANT FREE’ and their choice of outting for the night…clubbing district.

They could’ve told me before i met up with them though…hence the runners, and casual sweater…oh well…haha

A crazy night nonetheless.
